2020 You Motherfucker You!

First of all....

    I can't believe it is 2020 and we are still screaming this. But I will get back to this later.  The year 2020 has been one of the biggest shit shows and most humbling moments I have ever experienced. Like most people, I was saying that "2020 was my year". I finally booked my dream trip to Italy, I was going to quit my job, and try to sneak in a solo trip to Miami or Hawaii. 

    All of that was taken away due to covid-19. All because a certain people decided it was ok to eat anything with a face. Here we are, already in June and states are prematurely opening because the economy is collapsing.  The CDC always said that we would have another outbreak in the fall, but I think it will happen a lot sooner. Not just from opening up to early but the thousands of people protesting. 

Now, lets revisit the elephant in the room. There have been so many black deaths by the hands of racist I have lost count. Time and time again the government does the bare minimum and everyone accepts it and goes back to their lives. Finally, people have taken a stand. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!Every major city in the U.S has protested against the injustice of black people. As much as I would like to think everyone is protesting because they care about black people. I know it isn't true. Many protesters are bored and jobless. Protesting allows them to kill two birds with one stone. Still, I pray that this the year we will see real change. I can't imagine having a family and have to worry about them getting murdered because of the color of the skin. I sometimes wonder if I'am being selfish by wanting to have kids knowing how insane this world is. I will save this topic for another time.
